Elli's 2nd Birthday!

I can't believe it but Elli is 2! Everytime I look at her lately I just can't believe how much she has grown up!

Elli 0, 1 and 2 yrs old

For Elli's Birthday we had a nice family party! She woke up with dora spirals hanging from the ceiling and we did the birthday dance song we do every year for her! She had a Dora and Boots Cake which she was so excited about. She ended up with some fun surprises a new dress, a slide, a rocking horse and play food! She was so excited about them all espeacially the Slide...she went on it again and again and again! These will be nice energy burners!

a few things about Elli:  She is very confident and knows what she wants! Her personality is one in a million. She loves her little brother Canyon and loves interecting with him. they have splash fun in the bath. She loves her stuffed animals: Elmo, puppy dog and baby doll. She has so many names memorized (100 maybe) - she knows all relatives on blakes side, alot on my side and more. She sings all the time - knows by heart: i am a child of god, let it go, do you want to build a snowman, im trying to be like jesus, when ever i hear the song of a bird..., and is working on "only you". Its pretty crazy she justs learns by listening. She had never sung the song before but heard me sing it to her often and then she randomly join me and know all of it! She loves to tease and to be chased! She loves swings and slides. Elli is very interested in Dora & frozen. Elli is very social and can make friends with anyone. She has no fear in new things - babysitting or nursrey is so easy for her - she justs walks in and never looks back. Elli loves helping me cook and pretend cooking and taking care of her baby doll.

Tree House Museum

Blake is on a trip to Flordia right now for a Conference (more on that to come) but while he was gone we figured we couldn't let him have all the fun so we hit the local museum and what fun it was! They had lots of room to basically play "playhouse" and dress-up. Here are some fun pictures!

Murder Mystery Night

We had a Murder Mystery Night! We invited over my brother Andy and his date and Blake's friend Landon & Kelsey. The theme was 50's at a BBQ. This was a fun night solving the mystery.

Halloween

This year for Halloween we were Little Red Riding Hood (Elli). The Big Bad Wolf (Canyon), The grandmother (Heidi) and The Woodsman (Blake)

Elli was so Cute when a trick or treater came to the door. She would turn with a huge surprised face and then run to the door and squeal as they took the candy.

 Our Halloween involved dressing up for moms workout class and having a monster dance after, going to the library and doing a cake walk & making a craft, Carving pumpkins with Grandpas HUGE pumpkins, and trick or treating!

Elli got really into trick or treating! The first door we went to she walked straight into their house as if to stay. Then she learned that trick or treat was the magic words and would say it over and over and over in between houses. At each door Elli/ little Red gave cookies to those giving her candy - a exchange. She then learned that Thankyou was also the magic word so all night it was trick or treat & thankyou repeated.
