We had a big box and thought we can not waste this....so Elli got a playhouse for a day and loved it!

Friends! Puzzles! Park!

I have seen some of my friends lately (Melissa, Colby & Christine, and Sara.)
Here is when Sara came over to do a couple puzzles. We also had some cookies & milk to go along!

We also went to the park with Colby & Christine and had a picnic/ played on the slack line! by the way Elli has learned to run!

Sister Hoover (Kayla) Called to Serve in the Lubbock, Texas mission!

This month another sister of Blakes went on a mission. Kayla (now Sister Hoover) was only in the MTC for 12 days and then was sent to Lubbock, Texas where she was called for 2 days and now she is in New Mexico in a very crazy living situation and a very small town.
We thought we'd spoil her and made her a MTC treat - a ranger cookie in the shape of a fish because she is in the Empty Sea (MTC).

Grandpa Hansen's 90th Birthday!

The extended family threw Blake's grandpa Hansen a surprise swimming birthday party at the country club! This was a fun party. The water was actually warm. There was a smaller pool that Elli could walk around in. It was nice for me (Heidi) to get into the pool - I don't feel so pregnant in the water. We had a buffet and fun visiting with the cousins. Grandpa is 90 but seems to be doing awesome and I really think he enjoyed the surprise.

Springville Festival

We went to the springville festival which included a parade, looking at craft booths, Lunch with the motorcyclist and the new springville fountain. Elli was so fun to watch, we didn't have a swimsuit for her but she just went right into the fountains and loved it. She was drenched head to toe but she didn't care she was having so much fun!

Elli's Play time!

I have been trying to get a little more creative when it comes to actvities for Elli. One of the newest ideas was to paint. Knowing Elli this had to be edible and so I made it from pudding! She definitely learned fast that this was edible! and ate more than painted. We've done this activity a few times now.

We often go visiting the nearby horses and chickens. She gets to pet the horses. Maybe she got this love for horses from her great-grandma Josephine Dickinson. Of course it comes from both sides of the family including her dad- Blake.

Other fun activities we have been up to include:
-going on walks
-reading books (elli loves to read)
-trips to the library
-Elli has gotten alot better at hand-eye cordination. she can now put the legos together (before could only take apart). She can also put the rings back on the its stand (before could only pull them off)
-picnics - Elli likes to bounce on the slackline. Blake is getting really good at the slackline too.
-playing in sprinklers

Picnic at Paul & Kari's

We had a fun picnic besides the lake in pauls new neighborhood. The picnic was with Paul and Kari and Austin, Tina and Chris and their 2 kids (Austin & Emmy) and Breanne and her friend. It was so funny to watch little Austin come and hug Elli. Elli would just sit their looking confused as Austin clinged to her. He even tried to lick her a time or two. There was a fun playstructure that we played on too.
