Elli is 13 months old!

Elli is doing all kinds of new tricks!

The biggest being that she is WALKING! She is still in the beginning stages but I don't think this will last long. She can walk clear  across the room and back. It's fun too see how excited she gets that she is walking.

Elli is starting to say some words. Her first word was "Mama". but then came "Baby," "Dada," and "Bye." When she says Bye is sounds like a southern accent - its so cute. and she waves while saying it.

Elli has begun to really love Dogs. About a month ago she noticed Dipper at her grandparents house and hasn't stopped barking since. When she barks she moves her whole body. She gets really excited to see the dogs, espeacially Dipper, but will do the dantiest pet and pull away.

We have also been seeing the horses alot lately. She even got to ride one at the Ellis's house. She now knows they are different than dogs and makes a horse sound. At least she tries - its more like tight mouth spitting.

Elli is an awesome crawler as well, she really can get to anywhere she wants.

Elli loves to put things into containers. Espeacially her pacifier. Which sometimes makes for a hard hide-and-seek for me later.

Elli is still very social. She loves interacting with others. At church she always a family interested in her and is often stolen from us.

She is also very verbal. When she is not useing words she is still talking and with alot of expression. I think she is going to love talking as she learns more and more.

Elli doesn't need to be swaddled anymore, in fact she wont let us. When in bed she is soo mobile! everytime you check on her she is in a new position. I think her favorite position is on her stomach.

Elli is still a very good eater. Sometimes she eats more than her mom.

Elli has really loved exploring the outdoors now that it is warmer. You just have to watch her close or she might put all "the outdoors" in her mouth.

Elli has a really sweet spirit! She has always been so content and happy. She is a very big smilier.

Elli has also been getting more independant - when it comes to playing at home. When she sees kids at the park or at grandmas that is definitely her biggest interest tho. She is definitly ready for some friends and playing with others. It was so fun to watch her play with her three girl cousins (the Ellis girls - megan, laurana, and sonja). They all focused on Elli and she was loving it!

Elli is a tease. You call her to come to you and she takes a look at you and takes off. She loves to play chase. She really gets excited to play with her dad espeacially.

Elli knows some signs. She waves good bye, she shakes both her hands in the air when she is "all done,"
She pumps her hand for "milk," she shakes her head "no" and "yes." She claps to celebrate.

Elli seems to always a fun face expression she likes to do. currently she started to make the "oooooo" face which involves a "o" shapped mouth, eyes big, and pulled back expression of surprise.

Elli loves touching your face. particually your mouth and nose. Sometimes she grabs them and she has a very strong grip.

Can't Wait to Meet our New Little One....

Baby # 2 is on its way! We are 30 weeks along!

We are so excited to have another baby in our family! and are excited that Elli will have a sibling so close in age.

We have decided to wait again until the birth to find out the baby gender. (I am so excited to find out!)

This pregnancy has been going even better than my pregnancy with Elli (and Elli's went good).

I have had basically no morning sickness, in otherwards I have thrown up once, I have had a few times when I feel like I am going to. Those times are almost always when I stay up too late into the night.

At night time my body shuts down at 9 or the lastest 10pm....I just can't stay awake after that without feeling sick. (this is going away tho)

I can't eat alot of sweets without feeling sick. This happened with Elli too. (although I crave them lately)

I have also been more tired and worn out this pregnancy but I think alot of that attributes to the fact that I was nursing Elli the first 20 weeks of the pregnancy. I have stopped since and my energy has returned!

My belly continues to grow. This was probably the first sign to me that I was pregnant. I would see my stomach getting bigger and yet on the scale I was the same or losing weight. I am at the point where it is obvious I am pregnant...People are not nervious to ask if I am pregnant anymore! whoo hoo!

I can feel the baby move! I love this part of pregnancy! and this baby is definitely a mover. It has had the hiccups lately.

I have been more sore this pregnancy and I assume this it is because I am up on my feet alot more, I hardly ever sit down. Sleeping is getting harder (mmm... pillows) and my back hurts more from carrying Elli.

Overall some days I have these symptoms and other days I just feel so normal, I almost forget I am pregnant. I feel very blessed for how my pregnancys go. I thank my mom for that!

Another fun thing this time around is that because its my second pregnancy I can just relax and enjoy the ride a little more because I know more of what to expect.

These pictures are a little old (24 weeks) ... so I am 6 weeks farther now

 And heres me goofing off...
